INTRODUCTION

The German 100 Mile Trail Run is more or less one big loop, which consists (like MOHICAN) of four (five) different subloops. Except for about three miles (out and back) through picturesque MEDIEVAL Hannoversch Muenden to the "fountain" of river Weser (the confluence of river Fulda and river Werra) the course is mostly unpaved. Single track trails, jeep roads through forests, meadows and nature are the focus of this run.

You will get further information by clicking the topics on the left hand side. You also can download the documents as  .doc-WORD-file. Maps of the course are available for viewing and  downloading (and printing of course).

Please use the REGISTRATION - form to enter the run or send an email with all your data including telephone number(s) to hd_weisshaar@yahoo.com. Euro-area runners pay via banktransfer, oversea - participants can pay the fee by mailing a moneyorder.

As this run will be prepared by only two people (Susi and Hans) and organized with some additional experienced volunteers during the event, the number of starters will be limited to 25 runners. As usual it will be a friendly and familiar meeting and run. The entries are accepted according to the the first come - first serve rule. Ten spots will be reserved for oversea runners until April 15th. In case of more than 25 applicants a waitinglist will be maintained.

One of our aims of organizing an 100 miles run in Germany is to give back all the good impressions, Susi and I over the years got in North America, to the fellowrunners, RDs and volunteers. Germany in late May is beautiful, amazing and worth the longer travel. We are convinced that this run will become a long lasting remembrance.
