A. 100 MILLAS
El cupo está limitado a 12 corredores. Se dará preferencia a los primeros en inscribirse.
A. 1. Fecha:
Sábado 16 de enero del 2010. Salida exactamente a las 7 a.m. (0700) desde la terraza de nuestra casa en Valenciana.
Instrucciones para llegar a nuestra casa: Viajando hacia el norte sobre el camino de Guanajuato a Dolores Hidalgo. Nuestra casa tiene marcos de ventanas azules y una pequeña lámpara blanca; es la última casa antes del Restaurante Bar Real de Esperanza.
A. 2. Límite de tiempo:
34 horas - el Domingo 17 de enero a las 5 p.m. (1700).
A. 3. Ruta:
8 vueltas (cambiando direcciones con el sentido del reloj y contra reloj) of 20.1 km cada una. Ocho vueltas son 160.8 km o 100 millas.
Una vuelta consiste,
- Desde la salida a La Concepción (puesto de abastecimiento) y de regreso a la salida son18.6 km.
- Y otra pequeña vuelta es en total de 1.5 km, desde la salida al punto de regreso y viceversa.
El margen de error del recorrido es de más-menos 2%, el cual es un estándar internacional en las carreras de 100 millas.
Superficie:
- Aproximadamente 2.5% es camino pavimentado en el área de salida; el tráfico es casi no existente.
- Aproximadamente 12.5 % es terracería con muy poco tráfico.
- Aproximadamente 85% son veredas.
- 35 % son veredas anchas, o sea, caminos de tierra SIN salida para carros y SIN tráfico,
- 50 % son senderos con secciones parcialmente difíciles.

A. 4. Marcado de la ruta:
Listones rojos y cal en el suelo.
A. 5. Altitud:
Aún no se ha medido, en total ca. 11000 feet.
A. 6. Puestos de abastecimiento:
(1) En la salida a 0.0 km,18.6 km y 20.1 km.
(2) En La Concepción a 11.1 km (con el sentido de las manecillas) y a 9,0 km (cuando se corrra contra reloj).
A. 7. Comida y bebidas en los Puestos de Abastecimiento:
(1) Comida:
Tendremos la comida "típica" dulce y salada a la que ya están acostumbrados y que se ha ofrecido en otras carreras de 100 millas. Habrá frutas, como plátanos, uvas, manzanas y melón. Habrá también algunas tartas.
También se incluirá comida caliente durante la noche en la Salida/Meta. Habrá sopa caliente, tal vez espagueti, tal vez carnitas (de puerco) o tal vez pizza. Las bebidas calientes son café y té. Cuando llegue al Puesto de Abastecimiento en la Salida/Meta, tiene que hacer una pequeña sección adicional de 1.5 km para completar la vuelta. Antes de correr esta pequeña sección adicional, tiene que ordenar la comida y bebidas que desee para que estén listas cuando esté de regreso.
(2) Fluídos:
Electrolitos en botellas de 600 ml, Cola, limonada (de manzana), leche, jugos (de mango y naranja), agua, y en la noche café y té.
NO TENDREMOS:
Jaleas, barras energéticas, ni píldoras. Si desea alguno de estos productos traígalos en su bolsa de abastecimiento personal.
A. 8. Cuota:
400 pesos.
A. 9. Bolsas de abastecimiento personal:
Puede dejarlas con su nombre, sólo en la Salida/Meta.
A.10. Corredores de apoyo:
Se permiten a partir de la noche y solamente uno a la vez.
A.11. Salida y puesta del sol y la luna:
ver versión en inglés por favor.
A.12. Responsiva:
Cada participante deberá firmar una carta responsiva antes de la carrera.
A.13. Junta informativa previa obligatoria:
Antes de la salida puntualmente a las 6:30 a.m. (0630) en el punto de Salida/Meta el sábado 16 de enero del 2010.
A.14. Desayuno antes de la carrera:
Antes de la salida, desde las 6:30 a.m. en adelante se ofrecerá un desayuno ligero que consiste de café y pan dulce, sólo para los corredores.
A.15. Certificado:
Para todos los finalistas (hasta ahora no hay playeras ni hebillas).
A.16. Fiesta después de la carrera:
Familiares, niños y perros son bienvenidos. En la Salida/Meta el domingo 17 de enero del 2010, a partir de las 12 p.m. en adelante.

B. 50 MILLAS
El cupo esta limitado a 12 corredores. Se dará preferencia a los primeros en inscribirse.

A. 100 MILES:

The race is limited to one dozen (12) starters on the first-to-register basis.
A. 1. When:
Saturday, 16 January 2010.  The Start location will be the terrace of our house in Valenciana.  The start time will be at 7 A.M. sharp (0700). 
Directions:  Going north on the road from Guanajuato to Dolores Hidalgo; our house, with the blue window-frames and a small white lantern, is the last house before the Restaurante Bar Real de Esperanza.
A. 2. The Cutoff limit:
34 hours - on Sunday, 17 January 2010 at 5 P.M. (1700).
A. 3. The Course: 
8 loops (changing directions clockwise-counterclockwise) of 20.1 km each.
The Loop
:
- From the Start to La Concepcion (aid station) and to the Start is 18.6 km,
- Continuing out from the Start to the turnaround point) is 0.75 km, and back (another 0.75 km)
Surface:
- About 2.5 % paved road at the start-area, almost no traffic.
- About 12.5 % dirt roads with very low traffic,
- About 85 % trails:
    - 35 % "big" trails, dirt roads WITHOUT traffic (dead ends),
    - 50 % single trails, partially technical.
Thus, each Loop is 20.1 km and eight loops will be 160.8 km or 100 miles.
The error in course measuring is plus or minus 2%, the international standard for 100-mile races.

A. 4. Coursemarking:
Red ribbons and white powder on the ground.

Altitude is to be measured.
A. 6. Aid stations:

(1) At the Start, kms 0.0, 18.6, and 20.1.
(2) At La Concepcion, km 11.1 (clockwise) and km 9.0 (when counterclockwise).
A 7. Food and drinks at Aid stations:

(1) Food:
We will have the "normal" sweet and salty stuff you are used to from other 100 milers.  Fruits such as bananas, grapes, apples, melons, and some pies.
There will be warm food for the night at the Start, hot soup, maybe spaghetti, maybe carnitas (pork) or maybe pizza., and hot drinks of coffee and tea. When you arrive at the Start aid station, you have to do an additional small loop of 1.5 km. Before "running" that small loop, you can place your "order" for food and drinks, which will be waiting for you, when you are back from the small loop run.
(2) Fluids:
Elektrolytes in 600 ml bottles to go, Cola, Lemonade (apple), milk, juice (mango, orange), water, and, at night, coffee and tea..
We do NOT have: Gels, Powerbars, pills. Bring your personal preferences along with your dropbag.
A. 8. Starting Fees:
400 Pesos mex.
A. 9. Drop Bags:
Drop bags at Start/Finish only. Bring your dropbag marked with your name to the start.
A.10. Pacers:
Pacers are allowed after sunset and only one at a time
A.11. Sun- and moon- rise and - set:
Sun rises:  7:25 A.M. and 7:23 A.M.  Sun sets: 6:25 P.M. and 6:26 P.M.  Maximum altitude of sun is 48 degrees.  Moon rise:  8:16 A.M. and 8:15 A.M.  Moon set: 7:49 P.M.  Moon is waxing crescent, 1 day old, 2.4% illumination with maximum altitude of 55 degrees. The moon will be no factor for lighting. (Data received from Dick Shumway).
A.12. Waiver:
A waiver must be signed by all participants before the race.
A.13. Mandatory prerace briefing:
At 6.30 am sharp (0630) at the Start on Saturday, 16 January 2010.
A.14. Pre-Race-Breakfast:
Before the start from 6:30 on we will offer some continental breakfast for runners.
A.15. Certificate:
For all finishers (no t-shirt or buckle).
A.16. After-the-race-"fiesta":
Family, kids, and dogs are welcome. At the Start on Sunday from 12 Noon on.

B. 50 MILES:
The race is limited to a dozen (12) starters only on a on the first-to-register basis.
